ALLELES Prosthetic Covers
The ALLELES Design Studio was founded in 2013 in an effort to create fashion-forward prosthetic leg covers that people can afford. Alleles hope is to do what fashion design did by transforming what was once a medical device into a personal statement.
The design and perforations of the cosmetic cover fulfil the shape of the leg, while showcasing the prosthetic components.
The product was designed to be easy to put on and take off:
• Allowing personal choice and self- expression for different occasions.
• The convenience of choosing where and when you want to wear a cosmetic cover.
Alleles have many features. Some are more durable than others, while others are more delicate and are purely an aesthetic art-form.
